Trump-backed Adam Laxalt criticizes Senator Cortez Masto for supporting “extreme left radical” FCC candidate Gigi Son

Nevada Republican Senate candidate Adam Laxalt summoned incumbent Democratic Senator Katherine Cortez Masto for supporting President Biden’s FCC far-left candidate Gigi Son.

Laxalt challenged Cortez Masto to make a choice: to prevent the Senate from confirming Son as FCC Commissioner or to present himself as a supporter of an anti-police radical.

“Gigi Son, who has long displayed anti-police sentiment, is Biden’s latest FCC nominee,” Laxalt said. Said. “my opponent [Masto] It is the decisive vote that can stop him. I urge him to stand with law enforcement, not the left, not anti-police radicals.

In a press release, Laxalt cited Son’s support for running out of money and promoting social media posts attacking law enforcement.

“The boy’s views on law enforcement are dangerous and disqualifying,” Laxalt said. “And that’s why the Brother Police Service opposed his appointment.”

“As an important vote in the US Senate, the choice before Cortez Masto is clear: Will he support the police-hating far left or will he support our brave police and oppose Son’s nomination?”

The Brotherly Police Order, an alliance of more than 330,000 law enforcement officers in 2,100 local branches across the country, has compiled an archive of Son’s support for law enforcement attacks. Social media posts featured negative stereotypes about police officers, along with numerous calls for an end to police funding.

As Breitbart News previously reported, at the height of the riots in Portland, Oregon, Son once praised an organization that called policing “an institution of violence that must end.” Many other examples of the FCC candidate’s ties to the far-left are documented, including a speech he delivered at an event announcing the fall of his “right-wing propaganda machine” government.
