Each of the Barracuda submarines has a length of approximately 99 m, a diameter of 8.8 m, and a displacement of 5300 tons. Its main staff consists of 65 people. It can also carry 15 additional soldiers. It can act quickly. Dive to a depth of 25 knots and 350 m below the water.
These submarines are armed with 533 mm F21 torpedoes, SM-39 Exocet anti-ship missiles and Scalp Naval cruise missiles designed to fight land targets.
