Telegram founder Pavel Durov has warned about a security issue in the WhatsApp app that allows hackers to access all the data of the app’s users through phones.
Durov said: “There is a security issue in the WhatsApp application that allows hackers to access all the personal data of the application’s users through phones, and this can be done by sending a video clip containing malware or by responding to a video call.”
“Bickers have access to everything WhatsApp users have on their phones, and this was made possible thanks to a security issue the company disclosed last week. WhatsApp 13 years ago became a tool to track users, such issues appeared in the US two years ago. . Application between 2017, 2020 and 2016 no data encryption in this application.”
“Even after updating WhatsApp to the latest version, there is a risk that the user will be exposed to a hacking attack,” said Durov.
