Dacia ready for Morocco (thinking about the Dakar) with the Sandriders

Dacia threw itself into the Dakar and equipped itself with all possible assets to maximize its chances of success. You have a competitive car, in format buggy, and a trio of runners, two men and a woman, the first two being among the fastest and most experienced in this desert marathon.

The Morocco Rally takes competitors on a foray throughout the country, with a length of 2,468 km, of which 1,512 km are timed sections, which end up defining the final classification. The race begins with the prologue in Marrakech and then the participants head to Mengoub Bouarfa, where the finish line is located. From one point to another, a series of challenges await competitorsfrom sections with loose rocks and hard terrain to immense sand dunes, all under scorching heat to punish mechanics and drivers.

The Dacia Sandriders are a buggy 4×4 with tubular chassis and light bodywork, whose shapes are reminiscent of the Manifesto prototype. The engine is a 3.0 V6 and then everything else benefits from the sporting knowledge of the brand (and the group), to make the car faster and more resistant. In command of the three Sandriders will be Nasser Al-Attiyah and Edouard Boulanger, the duo currently leading the Rally-Rayd championship standings. Competing for primacy in this team led by the Qatari driver is the ace of the World Rally Championship, the Frenchman Sebastien Loebaccompanied by Fabián Lurquín, for the third buggy The Dacia 4×4 is in charge of the Spanish duo Cristina Gutierrez and Pablo Moreno.
