In fact, they were. On June 5, Immerso, the first five-star hotel in Ericeira, was inaugurated.
A family project, the location of which was chosen by a surfer. “My nephew surfs and he suggested Ericeira. We analyzed it and it seemed ideal, especially since there was no more modern and higher quality hotel here. And here we had a kind of epiphany: we were able to contribute to making Ericeira the new Biarritz, where before surfing exploded, there was only an older type of tourism,” Pedro Lopes, one of the Immerso shareholders, tells the Observer.
