The blast shook the Russian military base

Russia’s Tass news agency reported on Thursday that an explosion had taken place at a military base in Russia’s Far East.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a military base in the village of Tysin in the Khabarovsk Krai, the source was quoted as saying by a source in the local emergency service.

One soldier was killed and seven others were injured when a gunshot wound exploded, the source said.

Two of the injured suffered severe burns, the Ministry of Local Health said.

According to Tass, the explosion caused a fire that was controlled.

Poor infrastructure and non-compliance with safety rules cause a large number of similar incidents – fires and explosions in military installations – in Russia each year.

At the end of April, a fire destroyed a military research institute in Tver (160 km from Moscow) and killed 17 people.

Russian media reported that the cause of the accident was the collapse of the building’s electrical wiring.
