WhatsApp is adding a new feature that allows users to leave groups silently in an effort to make the messaging platform more user-friendly.
According to WABetaInfo, only group administrators can see who is leaving the group while others cannot, and this feature is under development, so it is not ready to offer beta testers.
It now appears when users leave the group, and WhatsApp usually adds a system message in the chat to notify all participants that you have left the group.
The report states that even if the screenshot is taken from the beta version of WhatsApp desktop, this feature will surely be launched in the trial version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS in the future.
The feature is currently being developed in a trial version of WhatsApp desktop and will be available to users in future updates, the report said.
The messaging platform has announced that it offers new features including emoji reactions and larger files and groups.
The company said it is slowly offering the ability to add 512 people to a group, which so far only allows a maximum of 256 people to be added.
