A French court has convicted six people in 2020 of harassing and threatening to kill a French teenager who was flooded with threats after he posted a video criticizing Islam on social media.
Six of the convicts sentenced to three months of probation and up to four months in prison will be monitored with an electronic wristband.
One of the six convicted people was charged with making death threats against a teenager, a mother of two, who had previously been convicted of theft, fraud and driving without a license, Franceinfo reported.
After French teen Mila posted a video criticizing Islam in the so-called “Mila case” in January 2020, she posted on Instagram: “I hate religion. The Qur’an… is full of hatred. It just contains hate. Islam is a crude religion. I like it too.” I’m thinking”.

The threat level to the then 16-year-old boy had grown so great that he had to stop reading and disappeared under police protection.
“I could have been thrown acid and shot because of the threats I got from high school. I was threatened with being robbed and buried alive in public. I had to stop working, ”Mila said in 2020.
This week, the convictions come after eleven people were convicted of cyberbullying Mila in June and given four to six months of probation.
Regarding the harassment and intimidation of the teenager, Mila’s lawyer, Richard Malka, said: “No girl in the history of this country has received 100,000 hate messages in openly sexist and homophobic tones.”
