Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin stressed that his country is conducting intensive diplomatic activities to facilitate the export of grain and fertilizers from Ukraine and Russia to international markets in order to prevent a global food crisis.

Kalin indicated that Turkey conveyed to the Spanish side its satisfaction with the extension by Madrid of the Patriot air defense missile mission in the Turkish state of Adana (south), which are in the region as part of NATO missions, explaining that “the Turkish side is evaluating what can be done to increase the volume of trade “.
He noted that during the talks, he discussed with Spanish officials files related to the war in Ukraine, events in the South Caucasus, Syria and the eastern Mediterranean.
