The head of the military administration of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that according to the results of opinion surveys, most of the region’s population is ready to join Russia.

He added that consultations on this issue are currently being held with lawyers and representatives of Russian institutions.

Emphasizing that experts have prepared about 500 applications for Russian citizenship so far, Saldo stressed that the document processing capacity of local centers will increase in the near future.
