Joint Security Treaty Organization
The Collective Security Treaty Organization was established in 2002 based on the Collective Security Treaty signed on May 15, 1992.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization is an international security organization whose current members are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The Collective Security Treaty represents the first attempt to create a collective security system in the post-Soviet space. The agreement does not plan the creation of a military bloc, but contains a mechanism for coordinated action to ensure the collective security and territorial integrity of member states.
