The teams of Oman, Lebanon and Bahrain scored 5 points compared to zero by the UAE team in the Asian Futsal Championship. After addressing goal difference, Oman finished first with 5 goals, Lebanon finished second with 4 goals, then Bahrain finished third with 3 goals.
According to the rules of the tournament, the teams are divided into groups as follows:
A. The team with the most points in all group matches.
If two or more teams have an equal number of points, the following criteria are applied to determine the place in the standings (in descending order):
A. The team with the most points in the matches of the respective teams.
B. The team with the highest goal difference as a result of their respective teams’ matches.
C. The team that has scored the most goals in their respective team’s matches.
In the event that a tie persists after applying the previous criteria, the ranking positions of the tied teams will be determined by applying the following in descending order:
D. The team with the highest match result difference from all group matches.
E. The team that has scored the most goals in all group matches.
F. Free kicks, 5 total if both respective teams are on the field.
g) Application of fair play standards.
h) Arrange a lottery.
Thus, the semi-final, scheduled for 11 June 2022, will feature two matches between Kuwait, the champions of the first group, and Lebanon, placed second, at four o’clock, then Oman, the second champion, with Saudi Arabia, the second champion of the first group. The two winners advance to the final on June 13, 2022.
