The Board of Directors of the Association of Journalists of Oman thanked all the participants in the General Conference of the International Federation of Journalists in Muscat from May 31 to June 3, 2022 with the participation of more than 350 trade union leaders, and 70 journalists from 120 countries from different continents of the world

The Council appreciated the cooperation shown by trade unions and press federations around the world and their willingness to participate and attend the events of the conference. Zuliana Leniz and Federation General Secretary Anthony Bellanger closed the conference, where she described the meetings of this conference in Dominica as historic in terms of the number of participants and participating countries. He also praised what they found in “hospitality, organization and preparation, praising the revival of the development of the Sultanate of Oman in various political, economic, cultural and historical fields.”
He commended “the support of various public governmental and private institutions in sponsoring and supporting the Assembly in conducting the work of this conference, which played an important role in the good organization and preparation of its work, as well as in the accompanying meetings and meetings between the participating continental federations and national unions.”
The Council blessed the efforts of all members of the association, representatives of the committees and accompanying working groups, students and students of universities and colleges, as well as volunteers who actively contributed to the success of this historic demonstration.
