Stranded in a deep well in India, Rahul Sahu escaped after more than 100 hours of continuous attempts by authorities to rescue him.
NDRF and SDRF teams acted day and night to rescue him from the pit, while 11-year-old Rahul was released after 5 days of hard work.
Commenting on Rahul’s safe release, Chhattisgarh Prime Minister Bhupathi Bagel said, “Thanks to everyone’s prayers and to the tireless efforts and dedication of the rescue team, Rahul Sahu has recovered and is safe. We wish him a speedy recovery. ”
Rescue efforts to rescue baby Rahul, who was trapped in a deep well in the Janjir Samba district of Chhattisgarh, have been going on for about 4 days. Rahul has not eaten anything in the past 24 hours, which weakens him.
On June 10, Rahul fell into an open pit and settled at the bottom of a well 60 feet deep. Of all the accidents where children fell into a deep well, this was the longest. Excavation continued for a long time due to the presence of rocks around the pit.
