A court in Jerusalem has ordered the Palestinian Authority to pay 130 million shekels ($38 million) compensation to 34 families of Israeli terror victims.
The Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday delivered a partial ruling in a 20-year-old case.
Three years ago, in a historic decision, the Ramallah government was required to pay compensation for terrorist attacks during the Second Intifada of the late 1990s and early 2000s, for providing financial aid and weapons to terrorist groups.
Additionally, the PA operates a so-called pay-for-kill policy that rewards convicted terrorists and their families on a sliding scale based on the number of deaths caused.
The aunt of the Palestinian terrorist responsible for the shooting that killed five people in a Tel Aviv suburb last week has openly expressed her support, saying she is “happy” to be martyred. https://t.co/W9SL0qdth7

Ynet said the Fatah faction, the Palestinian Authority and its then-president, the late Yasser Arafat, and other top officials were united in the goal of killing Israelis and destroying the State of Israel.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Court also ruled that FY could be prosecuted for terrorism and that the families of those killed in the attacks could sue.
The court ruled that the decision to pay compensation to Palestinian terrorists and those killed in the “war against Israel” held FY responsible.
“[The PA] expresses his approval of his actions in a way that he takes responsibility for these actions. that makes sense [the PA] Personal and direct responsibility will be given,” said Judge Yitzhak Amit at the time.
