The fall of a glacier in Marmolada, in the Dolomites mountain range in the Italian Alps, has killed at least six people. In addition, there are seven slightly injured and two seriously injured, in addition to fifteen missing. The information is provided by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The National Alpine and Cave Rescue Corps is on the scene with five helicopters and patrol dogs to find possible missing persons in the snow.
