Miguel Pinheiro. Is this PSD the Recreational Club of Los Defeated by Rio or the new Casa Comum dos Laranjinhas?

There are two ways to see what happened this weekend at the PSD Congress. The pessimistic path: the party became Clube Recreativo dos Derrotados por Rui Rio, joining in its leadership Luís Montenegro (who is now the leader but lost to Rui Rio in 2019 and 2020), Paulo Rangel (who is now first vice president) president but lost to Rui Rio in 2021) and Miguel Pinto Luz (who is now also vice president but lost to Rui Rio in 2019). The optimistic path: the party returned to being the Common House of Laranjinhas, after the orthodoxy of the leader was imposed in the years of Rui Rio as if they were the Ten Commandments.
