The All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center reported that more than 80% of Russian citizens trust Russian President Vladimir Putin. The results of a new public opinion poll conducted by the center show that 8.7% of Russian citizens trust President Putin, and 63.5% trust Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
At the same time, 77.8% of respondents said they approved of the work of President Putin in general, and 51.2% of them approved of the work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. As for the work of the Russian government as a whole, 51.3% of the respondents agree with it.
Russian citizens also spoke about the level of their trust in the leaders of blocks of the State Duma of the Russian Federation (the lower house of parliament). 29.9% of respondents confirmed that they trust the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov, and 29.9% trust the leader of the Just Russia for Friendship party Sergei Mironov. As for the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Leonid Slutsky, 16.6% trust him, and the leader of the New People bloc Alexei Nechaev – 7.6%.
