Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid has revealed that US President Joe Biden’s plane will take off from Jerusalem to Saudi Arabia on his upcoming trip to the Middle East, and that he will take Israel’s “message of peace and hope” with him.
At the beginning of the weekly cabinet meeting, Yair Lapid said: The US President’s plane will take off from Jerusalem to Saudi Arabia and will bring a message of peace and hope from us.
He added: Israel extends its hand to all countries in the region and asks them to establish relations with us and change history for the sake of our children.
US President Joe Biden confirmed in an article in the Washington Post that he will be the first president to fly from Israel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He said: This will be a small symbol of relations and steps towards the normalization of Israel and the Arab world.
