The Washington Post revealed on Tuesday the details of the killing of al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in an attack carried out by the US Central Intelligence Agency last weekend in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.
The newspaper quoted a senior US official as saying that the attack that killed al-Zawahiri was carried out at 9:48 pm GMT on Saturday.
