The 161st day of the war was marked by the inspection, in Turkey, of the first Ukrainian ship that left the country with grain. The Razoni has already received the green light to go to Lebanon and there are now 17 grain ships ready to leave the country’s ports. However, a Turkish official revealed that three ships could leave Ukrainian ports daily, instead of one per day, as initially reported.
In the last few hours, the US Senate approved the entry of Finland and Sweden into NATO, a decision also taken by the Italian Parliament. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has already reacted to the fact that Russia has declared the Azov Battalion a “terrorist organization”, a decision he considered “absurd”. The UN Secretary General, António Guterres, announced the creation of a team to investigate the facts of the attack on a Ukrainian prison, where 53 prisoners of war died.
