The supermarket chain Aldi Portugal also clarified that the Chupy Fresh ice cream, which was withdrawn from sale in Spain, “was never sold in its stores in Portuguese territory.”

“Aldi Portugal, after the alert issued by the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) about Chupy Fresh ice creams, clarifies that they have never been sold in its stores, in Portuguese territory,” adds the retailer, in a statement.
