He continued: “The Indian Ocean covers an area of ​​20% of the world’s water area, and 37 countries overlook it, and more than 17 other countries are connected to it by smaller waterways, which represents an excellent opportunity for any country overlooking it to achieve development. and support their national interests, pointing out the importance of joint regional cooperation between Iran and India, with their common interests in this vast ocean.
