Anger at the beloved monarch probably stems from the Falklands War between the United Kingdom and Argentina, sparked by the 1982 invasion of the British Isles by Argentine troops.
In a conflict that lasted 74 days, the late Margaret Thatcher ordered the British army to drive the Argentine invaders from the islands; meanwhile, the Argentines lost 649 soldiers killed, 11,313 captured and nine warships and support ships before surrendering.
