US Customs and Border Protection officers in Del Rio, Texas, seized more than 1,300 pounds of methamphetamine smuggled into Texas from Mexico on Labor Day. The drugs represent the largest seizure of methamphetamine in Del Rio port of entry history.
CBP employees working on the Del Rio International Bridge observed a 2016 Kenworth tractor approaching from Mexico carrying a group of diesel fuel tank containers to enter the United States on Labor Day, CBP officials said.
