The Saudi Arabian Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence has announced the official program and list of speakers for the Second World Summit on Artificial Intelligence, which will be held from September 13 to 5 in the capital of the country, Riyadh.

The theme of the summit is “Artificial Intelligence for the Benefit of Humanity” and the plenary session, along with moderated discussions, will be dedicated to discussing AI Now, AI Next and AI Forever. These themes focus on identifying and consolidating global perspectives on the adoption and fair use of AI to create a robust AI framework that can address the world’s future challenges, from global energy needs and decarbonization to equitable access to healthcare and the potential eradication of disease. In addition, speakers will discuss AI ethics and policies that help prevent AI exploitation. In hosting the summit, the Saudi Commission will highlight AI developments and achievements in Saudi Arabia and share its broader vision for the future of AI as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 plan.

The summit committees will include subject matter experts from both the private and public sectors who will share their experiences on the impact of AI on their businesses. There will also be a session on the current impact of AI on youth.

During the second AI World Summit, Riyadh will also feature several announcements of upcoming commitments and partnerships that will expand the use and influence of AI in the coming years.

This historic conference and accompanying announcements are just one of the many ways Saudi Arabia can implement the National Data and AI Strategy to elevate it as a global leader in the elite group of data-driven economies as part of the Vision 2030 goals.
