This week, Apple released the latest version of the iOS 16 operating system, which according to followers had many “annoying features”.
The new operating system, iOS 16, works on iPhone 8 and newer devices, while it does not support older versions.
The American website “Cnet” announced that this system comes with many great features such as battery percentage return and the ability to edit and cancel SMS.
“But on the other hand, there are a lot of annoying features that you won’t be excited about, like a new search button on the home screen that can be easily clicked by mistake, or unexpected photo popups that can be very personal.”
Apple’s AI helps make photos and videos pop unexpectedly on your phone’s screen, but you might not always like your photos popping up, especially if you’re with someone.
With iOS 16, you can now disable this feature in Settings, then Photos, and disable featured content.
The power (side) button allows you to quickly turn the phone off and on, but if you accidentally press it during a phone call, it will time out prematurely.
To prevent this annoying feature: Settings, Accessibility, Touch and turn off the lock to end the call.
The search feature on iPhone lets you quickly find what you’re looking for.
The new OS has added a search button to the home screen, which can be easily clicked by mistake.
To disable this button: “Settings” feature, “Home” then “Show on home screen”.
In the new system, notifications appear at the bottom of the lock screen, not at the top.
If you want to go back to the previous form of “lock screen” notifications: “Settings”, then “Notifications”, then “Display” and then you will see three options: 1- Number: notifications will appear as numbers. At the bottom of the screen 2-Bundle: Notifications appear in bundles at the bottom of the screen. 3- Menu: Notifications appear all over your screen.
To return to the previous notification mode, select the third option “Menu”.
