Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced that the Americans have sent a message in recent days that they have the good will to reach an agreement, stressing: “We have assured them that, being realists, they have the will and good will to reach desired agreement.

In a statement he made from New York to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) and Iranian TV in connection with the meetings he had with his colleagues on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, he noted that most of these discussions concerned the lifting of the embargo.

Abdollahian explained: “Our team and colleagues have had discussions in New York with a representative of the European Union and the countries involved in nuclear deal negotiations, in addition to the meetings I have had with various parties over the past two days, as this case has become one of the main topics on the agenda.

“During these discussions, I emphasized that we need strong will to reach an agreement, and in fact, today the American side must muster the courage to make a decision that will allow us to talk about getting a good, precise and sustainable agreement,” he said .
