The British Royal Family account posted a picture of a black marble bearing the names of the late Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Philip, along with the names of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth the Mother.
A British woman who works at George VI’s chapel said she was one of the few people to see Queen Elizabeth II’s tomb, noting that she was overcome with emotion when she first saw the Queen and Philip’s names on the marble. . .
The woman reported that she was able to see a blackboard with the name of the late Queen Elizabeth II along with the names of her father George VI, Elizabeth the Queen Mother and her late husband Prince Philip, who died last year.
He added: “It was very touching to see their names like that, I feel very lucky because I was one of the first people to see this,” he added, according to the Daily Mail.
An image released by the British Royal Family Account shows King George VI from 1895-1952, before later adding Elizabeth 1900-2002, Elizabeth II 1926-2022, then Philip 1921-2021.
At the center of the marble is a metal Garter Star, and the insignia of the Order of Ribat, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious equestrian rank.

And the British woman considered that others would travel to see the black marble, noting that she went to the church to pray and was lucky enough to see what she called the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth II.
He noted that he recognized the stone through images he saw in the media during the funeral, but soon realized that the names of the Queen and Prince Philip had been added to it.
