Francis Fukuyama, the author of the book “The End of History and the Last Man” on Monday, predicted the “great collapse of Russia” in the coming days.
Fukuyama said in a short tweet: “A much bigger collapse of Russia will be revealed in the coming days.”

Last September, in an article published by Democracy Magazine, Fukuyama predicted that Ukraine would win the war against Russia.
He noted: “The war has now reached its seventh month, a decisive turning point that will determine the course of world democracy.”
In recent weeks, Russia has suffered heavy losses, the latest being Liman, after its forces were forced to withdraw from Ukrainian territory.
And on Saturday, Ukrainian troops entered the strategic city of Liman in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region, whose annexation by Moscow the previous day sparked a storm of international condemnation and rejection of Kyiv, which is determined to reclaim its territory.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Saturday that his army would recapture other towns in the Donetsk region “next week”, which Russia officially announced on Friday.
