The 39-year-old player, detained since January 20, was confronted with biological evidence of traces of semen in the victim’s private parts and changed his version again: he assumed this Monday that he lied in the first statement before the court to hide his wife’s infidelity.

Now he justified it with the “chemistry” and “sexual tension” between them from the moment he met the young woman and with whom danced at the disco to justify sex in the bathroomto which they went and left separately, claiming that it had always been agreed between them.
He ensured that sexual relations were free and voluntary.without the young woman ever asking to end the relationship.
He considers that the fact that he was not “attentive” or “affectionate” at the end of the act, after which he asked to go out separately, may have been the reason for the rape complaint.
His defense presented a statement in which he stated that the footballer is always “respectful” to women and that he only advances to something more intimate if he notices a “predisposition” in the other party.
The former FC Barcelona player said he initially lied about his obsession with hiding his infidelity from his wife, the model Joana Sanz, who, in March, announced on social media her intention to separate after eight years of marriage.
His lawyer filed an appeal this morning to release him, however, the appeal was unsuccessful, as happened on February 21, when he was detained due to the “high” risk of flight and the “various and serious” indications of the crime. .
