Russian security services investigation led to bomb threats at Ukrainian embassies
An investigation carried out by the organization Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) on the Russian security services would have led to emails with bomb threats received in Ukrainian embassies, including the one in Lisbon, in schools and in the media .
According to the Kyiv Independent, the sender of the email claimed to represent a “terrorist group” and said that the three journalists who carried out the RFE/RL investigation should be held responsible for the “attack.”
The name of the group mentioned in the email, which suggested that embassies and schools had booby traps that would be activated remotely, matches that of a Telegram channel that posts calls to set fire to cars belonging to Ukrainian military personnel.
The Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty investigation was published on October 10 and showed how Russian security services recruit Ukrainians, including minors, to carry out sabotage actions, in particular setting fire to Ukrainian military cars.

“I sincerely hope that Brazil complies with the arrest order, reaffirming its condition of democracy and the rule of law,” he concluded.
The ICC order was issued about a year after the invasion of Ukraine, when the Russian president was charged with war crimes for deporting children.

Russian attack kills woman, wounds 16 in Mykolaiv
Russia launched an overnight missile attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv, killing one woman and wounding 16 people.
The S-300 missiles reached the city around 2:30 local time (two hours less in Lisbon), according to the region’s governor, Vitaly Kim, on his Telegram account. The attack caused damage to “an industrial facility, a complex of restaurants, shops, residential buildings and several cars.”
