European companies continue to prepare for winter and pump gas into underground storage, whose average level exceeds 50%, according to data from Gas Infrastructure Europe.
The data indicated that the mobilization rate of gas storage facilities in Europe reached 50.24% on the morning of Wednesday, June 8, and the volume of gas in storage facilities was approximately 53.3 billion cubic meters.
The bombing of natural gas into underground storage began this year on March 19, when the storage level was 25.5% full, or 27.4 billion cubic meters.
The data showed that the level of mobilization of facilities as of the date of last April 20 was at the level of 30%, and Europe aims to fill gas storage facilities by at least 80%.
The data indicated that the filling rate of storage facilities did not slow down after stopping the supply of natural gas from Russia to some companies in Europe. Continued supply to Shell Energy Europe in Germany and Ørsted in Denmark was cut off.
