The average price at gas stations was, in the week of August 15 to 21, in the case of gasoline, 1.1 cents and in diesel 2.0 cents above average weekly price determined by the ERSE, said the entity.
Thus, according to information from the Weekly Report on Supervision of Retail Prices, published this Monday by the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE) “in relation to the previous week, it was found that the average of Retail Prices announced in the porticoes, and reported in the Balcão Único da Energia, was 1.1 cent/l above the Efficient Price of this week, in the case of regular gasoline 95 Y 2.0 cent/l up in the case of single diesel“.
According to the regulator, “in percentage terms, plain 95 gasoline was advertised in the 0.6% above Efficient Price and simple diesel announced 1.1% above the efficient price.
The efficient price “is an average weekly price determined by the ERSE and results from the sum of the following components: fuel prices in the international markets of reference and the respective maritime freight, primary logistics, including in this part the strategic reserves and of security of the National Oil System, the cost overruns with the incorporation of biofuels and the retail component plus the respective taxes”, explained ERSE.
The entity highlighted that “still in relation to the previous week”, in terms of discounted prices, which are the average prices published by the General Directorate of Energy and Geology (DGEG), “simple gasoline 95 presented a deviation of – 3.0% compared to Efficient Price and simple diesel – 3.9%“.
Thus, “in absolute terms, these estimates are, for 95% simple gasoline, in – 5.5 cents/land for simple diesel in – 6.7 cents/l below the respective Efficient Prices”.
According to information published by ERSE, for this week (August 22 to 28) “the Efficient Price before taxes is 1,021 Euro/l for normal gasoline 95 It is 1,185 euros/l for simple diesel. After taxes, the Efficient Price is 1,818 euros/l and 1,867 euros/l, for normal gasoline 95 and normal diesel, respectively”.
