The Bank of Portugal (BdP) made public this Tuesday a list of eight entities without authorization to carry out any financial activity in Portugal, such as the granting of credit.
“Banco de Portugal warns that those responsible for the websites and profiles of the Facebook social network identified below are not, to date, nor have they ever been, authorized to carry out, in Portugal, the activity of granting credit or any other activity financial system reserved to institutions subject to the supervision of the Bank of Portugal”, said the financial supervisor in a statement.
In question are the Facebook pages of Fast Loan Portugal, Tiago Fast Loan Portugal, Tiago Pinto Fast Loan Portugal, Fast Loan Portugal, Tiago Pinto Fast Loan Portugal and EmpréstimoUrgente.pt.
The list also covers the sites https://novoservico.com/ and https://emprestimo-urgente-portugal.jimdosite.com/.
Banco de Portugal also recalled that the granting of credit is reserved for entities authorized to exercise it, whose list can be consulted on its website.
