The process of classifying the TAP documents that were on Frederico Pinheiro’s computer —and which justified the summoning of the SIS by Minister João Galamba’s cabinet— began after the formal constitution of the Parliamentary Investigation Commission (CPI). to protect the policy of the TAP and after the deputies requested the first set of documents from the ministries of Infrastructure and Finance.
The CPI was formally constituted on February 22, 2023 and, according to what the Observer learned from sources close to the process, the classification that made those documents confidential only began between March 16 and 24.
