The European Commission’s projections for Portugal in spring 2024 predict that Portuguese GDP will grow by 1.7% this year and 1.9% in 2025.
On Friday, the Minister of Finance guaranteed that Portugal will have a slight budget surplus this year and in 2025, based on the measures approved by the Government, but admitted that it is necessary to assess “what margin there is” to accommodate other parliamentary initiatives.
