The bad weather forecast for Friday left its mark on the whole country. From north to south, several floods were reported across the country and the images were shared on the social network X (formerly Twitter). Some of the most striking images come from Serpa, in Alentejo, where road closures and vehicles being swept away were reported. The IPMA (Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere) predicted hail and storms, as well as a drop in maximum temperatures.
