Mar 2030 with more than 1,700 projects approved with 189 million euros of support

The Minister of Agriculture announced this Tuesday, in Lisbon, that the Mar 2030 program has more than 1,700 approved projects, with 189 million euros of support, highlighting investments in fishing ports.

In the program “Mar 2030, there are more than 1,700 approved projects, with aid of 189 million euros“said the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, José Manuel Fernandes, in the Assembly of the Republic.

The governor, who was speaking at a joint hearing with the Budget, Finance and Public Administration and Agriculture and Fisheries commissions, specified that, of this amount, the investment in fishing ports, in fleet modernization, in aquaculture and in innovation for small and medium-sized companies medium-sized companies.

In response to the deputies, José Manuel Fernandes, assured that, next year, March 2030 will be in “cruising speed“.

The Mar 2030 program has an endowment of 539.9 million euros, between the value of the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEMPA) and the national counterpart.

Regarding the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), particularly the fishing one, 69 projects were approved, which represents 38% of the total execution.

Investments of more than 31 million euros are included in the modernization of ships.
