The new nursery will be located in Quinta das Violetas, in Castelo Branco, and a protocol for its construction was signed this Monday between the municipality and the District Social Security Center.
This is an investment of more than 2.2 million euros, which will be supported by a contribution from Social Security of approximately 330,000 euros.
This project was approved under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
Leopoldo Rodrigues also mentioned that this type of infrastructure “is crucial to support young families who already live or want to live in the municipality, allowing parents to better balance professional life with family life.”
