Media Capital shareholders approve the payment of 7 million euros in dividends

The shareholders of Media Capital, meeting today in an extraordinary general meeting, today approved the proposal to pay seven million euros in dividends, which corresponds to a gross dividend of 8.3 cents per share.

In a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the owner of TVI reports that at today’s meeting, with a single point on the agenda, “the proposal presented by the Board of Directors for the payment of dividends to shareholders, in the amount of 7,014,593.94 euros from free reserves.”

This “distribution will correspond to a gross dividend per share of 0.083 euros”the statement reads.

Therefore, dividends are payable “from October 22, 2024 (inclusive).”

And, as of October 18 (inclusive), “shares representing the company’s share capital will be traded on a regulated market without granting the right to a dividend.”

Media Capital recorded losses of 2.7 million euros in the first six months of this year.
