The president of FC Porto, André Villas-Boas, lent SAD Porto 500,000 euros, without interest, in May, the month in which he took office, with payment set in January 2025, according to the accounts released this Thursday by the entity.
In the detail of the nominal value of the loans classified as liabilities as of June 30, 2024, expressed in the results communicated this Thursday to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), this operation by the leader of the dragons, who assumed office, stands out on May 28. .
In another section of the report and accounts of the blue and white SAD it can be seen that at the end of June Villas-Boas held the same 54,269 shares of the company that he held on the day of his inauguration, while former president Jorge Nuño Pinto da Costa owned 354,483 (6.5 times more).
The remuneration granted during the year to the administrators of FC Porto SAD amounted to almost two million euros (1,942,641 euros).
Of these, the team led by Villas-Boas received, in just over a month of mandate (May 28 to June 30), 48,946 euros, with the president will not receive any remunerationafter having abdicated from him, and the majority of it falling on the financial administrator José Pedro Costa (35,133 euros).
The administration led by Pinto da Costa earned, between July 1, 2023 and May 28, 2024 (11 months), the period in which he held office, 1,893,695 euros.
The former president received 628,052 euros, Adelino Caldeira (legal administrator) and Fernando Gomes (financial administrator) each earned 356,550 euros, and Luís Gonçalves and Vítor Baía collected 274,772 euros.
FC Porto SAD recorded a negative net result of 21 million euros in the 2023/24 season, compared to a loss of 48 million euros the previous year.
Despite the significant reduction in losses, which fell by 27 million euros, this is the second consecutive season of negative results for FC Porto SAD, after two positive years: 19.3 million in 2020/21 and 20, 8 million in 2021/22.
