Amazon Studios Cinderella Billy Porter attacked Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (right) calls politicians “anti-transgender” as “transphobic” because of their support for government policies that protect children from sexual intercourse. change medications and procedures.
At one point, he ridiculously compared the Texas Transgender Directive to the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850.
In a series of videos, Billy Porter and social media phenomenon Line Weni interacted in a “transphobic showdown” in which they also insulted politicians.
“How do you live with this hairline?” Porter talked about Abbott. He also called Cruz for having a “half-finished mullet” on his head.
The couple focused much of their swagger on the discussion about transgender underage procedures.
“Congregation, you have declared an open time for trans youth, and the law requires members of the general public to report them,” Porter said.
According to Breitbart News, the Texas directive allows the Department of Family and Preventive Services (DFPS) to investigate parents who allow their children to undergo hormone therapy and other gender reassignment procedures. In March, a Texas judge suspended such investigations, setting the stage for a major lawsuit.
Porter and Vany strangely contrasted the Texas directive with the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850, in which the federal government mandated slave owners to help search and retrieve runaway slaves. It remains unclear how Texas policy regarding transgender children relates to the law of 1850.
“Copy and paste,” Porter said.
Porter also criticized Cruz, saying the senator focused on “humiliating trans identity.”
“People just want to calmly go to the bathroom and you keep sticking your big ass in there!” said.
The videos are intended to support a movement called “Strands for Trans,” which aims to pressure barbers and hairdressers across the country to be more transgender-friendly.
