“The right can frame a discussion and get an emotional response from young people, people and hit them on the solar plexus,” Davy said of the opportunity they are entitled to when they use messaging through culture. “Politics is the downstream of culture,” Davy said, quoting Andrew Brittbart, and “culture moves.”
Davy describes the left’s takeover of Hollywood as a “gradual phenomenon” reflecting their takeover of other American institutions such as academia.
“Marx and Lenin knew they had to influence culture,” Davi explains, and then notes how their ideology slowly began to move forward in the 20s and 50s. One difference between then and now is that in the past, activists have emerged to fight the impending Marxist takeover of art.
