As the energy crisis continues to wreak havoc across Europe, various local and national authorities are taking steps to reduce the electricity load in hopes of power delivery and preventing blackouts.

Meanwhile, more practical measures to reduce the city’s energy consumption were also announced, and the mayor of Paris said that public buildings, excluding nursing homes and nurseries, will need to lower their thermostats by one degree. up to 12 degrees at night.
The city is also introducing a number of regulations for pool heating, which now needs to be one degree cooler than normal and only be heated at certain times.
Such measures reflect the measures already in place in Germany and Italy, where both countries limit the heating of public buildings to a maximum temperature of 19 °C (66 °F).
