The researchers added that the monkeypox virus was detected in the semen of six out of seven patients, and studies are currently underway to determine “the resistance of the virus to semen and other biological materials, to determine the mechanism of transmission of virus from one. people to others.

According to institute experts, this study will clarify a series of questions related to the hypothesis of transmission of the monkeypox virus through intimacy.
