Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer Milwaukee, who brutally murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991, repeatedly resorting to rape, necrophilia and cannibalism. And if the documentary version leaves us with stories and loose images, the series created by Ryan Murphy (just like “Glee”, “American Crime Story” or “American Horror Story”, which here meets with the screenwriter of the feature film Ian Brennan) will beyond the way her belly turns (I don’t recommend seeing her having dinner, with a plate of lasagna on her lap), since she recreates situations that until then were only lived in descriptions. The moments with the victims are tense, long (practically in real time), dirty and there is no excuse to shock. It’s a job well done, effectively written and superbly acted, but it’s causing a stir as many viewers can’t get past the first episode.
