Swedish archaeologist and sculptor Oscar Nilsson (Oscar Nilsson) reconstructed the image of a young girl. His bones were found two years ago in a cemetery in the village of Pen near Bydgoszcz in northwestern Poland.
The skeleton of a girl who died between the ages of 18 and 20 was found next to artifacts that 17th-century people may have placed in the grave because they believed the deceased was a vampire and feared she might resurrect. So, a triangular lock was fixed on his toe, and a metal sickle was hung around his neck.
Researchers suggested that the girl suffered from a physical or mental illness, which is why local residents were afraid of her throughout her life and even after her death.
Oskar Nilssen recreated the look of the “vampire” girl using 3D printing, clay (to depict the thickness of facial tissue and muscles), then added eyeballs, hair, eyelashes and eyebrows.
