Republican Senators Reject Gun Control in Reaction to Mass Buffalo Shooting

Republican senators have rejected calls for gun control from President Joe Biden and other Democrats in the wake of a massive shooting in Buffalo, New York.

Top Senators John Barrasso (R-WY) Charles Grassley (R-IA) announced that gun control is not working.

On Tuesday, Barrasso told the Democrats’ call for gun control, “I don’t find it helpful to follow law-abiding citizens and our rights on the Second Amendment, so we will continue, I take that stance. “

Grassley said: “I think I heard a black man from Buffalo say on TV that guns don’t kill, folks. So what do you get by checking the gun?”

What Grassley was talking about was a Buffalo resident who went viral in an interview after the hunt.

resident constant FOX News: “I feel sorry for the people there after the guard was shot…[the attacker] people are still shooting. ”

Calm said, “If more people were armed and knew what they were doing with guns – because they weren’t guns. This is a gunman who can’t move.”

Breitbart News said the buffalo grocery store bought its gun legally. ABC 7 stated that the attacker used a rifle purchased from a store in Broome County, New York.

Buying from a gun shop requires going through a background check.
