Shot by home owner, allegedly injured thief dies

Around 12:40 p.m. Sunday, a homeowner in Orange County, Florida, shot and injured an alleged burglar.

WESH reported that lawmakers responded to an “attempt to break into” a home on Bentwood Street. Law enforcement who came to the house found a shot man in his 30s.

WFTV said the injured man was taken to the hospital where he died.

Breitbart News reported that the alleged thief was shot dead Saturday by a homeowner in Walnut, California.

CBS Los Angeles noticed that the 27-year-old Walnut, California host and his wife of 26 were awakened by “footsteps” around 4 a.m. Saturday. The landlord went to investigate the incident and exchanged fire with the alleged thief.

The thief died at the scene.
